David Takamine

Clinical Director

As someone recovering from substance addiction himself, David understands the challenges and barriers that those in need of help often face. Hispersonal lived experience has fuelled his passion for creating a safe and supportive environment for clients seeking to heal. Throughout his career, David has worked with a diverse range of clients, many of whom are dealing with trauma, PTSD, and many other significant addiction dependency-related issues. His empathetic approach and comprehensive understanding of recovery enables him to connect deeply with those he serves, guiding them towards renewed hope and resilience. David has worked at different treatment facilities, including Cri-Help and Starbridge Recovery, and throughout his professional tenure has held positions of Lead Tech(RADT and SUD certified), Case Manager, Assistant Program Director, and Program Director. David has assumed the role of Program Director for Red Door Life effective February 2025. David’s commitment to helping others is a duty that extends beyond his required duties; it’s a mission and passion of his driven by his own personal journey. He believes in the transformative power of recovery and is dedicated to empowering individuals to reclaim their lives and build a brighter future.
