We are thrilled to announce that the Roy A. Hunt Foundation has awarded a grant to the Evergreen Fund. This contribution, made through the Foundation’s Next Generation Fund, is specifically designated to support our project: "Innovating Recovery through an AI-Empowered Virtual Rehabilitation Platform".
Why This Matters
As national data from 2023 shows, over 48 million people in the U.S. met the criteria for a Substance Use Disorder (SUD), yet only a small fraction received treatment. At Evergreen Fund and Red Door Life, we recognize that the path to wellness is not linear and requires tools that meet people exactly where they are—whether that is in a residential facility or through low-barrier digital engagement.
The Project: AI-Empowered Virtual Rehabilitation
This grant will accelerate the development of our virtual platform, which utilizes AI to enhance the "Twelve Dimensions of Human Health and Wellness." By integrating technology into recovery, we aim to:
Increase Engagement: Proactively reaching individuals who may be hesitant to enter traditional settings.
Support Retention: Providing continuous, high-frequency touchpoints that align with a chronic care model of addiction.
Holistic Insight: Helping clients track progress across all areas of their lives, from emotional health to legal and career stability.
A Legacy of Support
We are honored to have the backing of Trustee Travis Bouscaren and the entire Hunt Foundation team. This grant, approved during their November 2025 meeting, represents more than just funding; it is a validation of our belief that innovation is the key to solving the overdose epidemic and fostering long-term recovery.
Stay tuned for updates as we roll out new features of the virtual platform!
